After Thamar, Rahab, the Qoheleth Team of women, Leve Fanm yo, focused on considering the third foreign woman playing key roles in attaching to the Jewish people. Her name is Ruth the Mohabite. She has a book bearing her name, consisting of 4 chapters.
Ruth, the third woman mentioned, is an exception, as there is no stain on her character. Being a Moabite, the law was against her and cursed her.
“An Ammonite or a Moabite will not enter the congregation of the Lord; they will not enter into the congregation of the Lord forever until their tenth generation ”(Deuteronomy 23: 3).
Ruth will come to take actions that will upset and destroy the institutions and principles established since the dawn of time.
So she revolutionized the system, she made it understood that Moab was a fertile land according to 2 Kings 3.4s. The Israelites moved to live in Moab. The matter that the daughters of Moab, charged with bringing the children of Israel to idolatry, according to Numbers 25, will not pass. I, Ruth, in the very name of the God of Israel, I will face the priestly system which wants a Judeen not to be married to a non-Israelite according to Ezra 9.2ss and Nehemiah 13.23f. The book of Ruth reacts energetically against this ostracism, accentuated by Deuteronomy 23.4ff
Ruth as every woman believes in times of crisis, God will act on her behalf and He will do more for her, according to Ruth 1.17. Exactly she married a man named Boaz who has a great fortune, according to Ruth 2.1. Boaz, a name that carries weight. It represents one of the sides of the temple according to 1 Kings 7:21; 2 chronicles 3.17.
Ruth is recognized as a worthy woman, a worthy woman like most men according to Ruth 3.11
From her marriage was born a child named Obed. His grandson David became the King through whom the Messiah descends. Which makes her, in the words of Rabbi Elie Lommel, "the mother of royalty of Israel"
The patriarchal system put in place by Jacob's two wives, Leah and Rachel, is totally null and void since the curse pronounced against the entry of the Moabites into Israel had no effect or was not applied.
Ruth symbolizes at least in the genealogy of Jesus fidelity in human relations and faith in one and only God for all the inhabitants of the earth, for all nations, for all tribes, for all languages and for all peoples universally.
